BLACKWOOD FARM SCHOOL

Blackwood Farm School is an excellent complement to all pedagogy. Our goal is to teach students a strong work ethic as they learn where food comes from, and connect classroom studies to real world situations. They will leave empowered to utilize their new skills to continue modeling the indispensable role of restorative, resilient food systems in daily life.

This once-monthly, experiential program is designed to provide students with an in-depth, hands-on look into how a 21st century farm operates. In a day, students will live the full cycle of basic agro-ecology and learn the value of preparing wholesome food. They will leave better stewards, excited to make conscientious decisions in all their future pursuits.

Sessions run seasonally. Contact us for scholarship information!

Campion Hall

In its pilot year, Campion Hall is a two day per week educational initiative of Presentation of the Lord Catholic Church with the purpose of supplementing and enriching education for students who are either homeschooled or participate in hybrid learning. We are a “Hall,” a place where students come to enhance the education they are already receiving. Open to 3-year-olds through seniors in high school, it is an a-la-carte program that allows families to augment their educational practices. Parents will choose courses in which to enroll their children, choosing as many or as few as they wish. Classes will be held Wednesdays and/or Fridays, with each day centered around the liturgical life of the parish.

See link below for info about fall semester classes: Art, Theater, Catholic Culture, Math tutorial, Woodworking, and Preschool Montessori.
